Product Toxins and Asthma Story Relationship

Mirror Athlete Enterprises Question and Answer “Asthma Story”

Q.    Is there any relationship with house hold toxins and asthma?

   A.    Let me share Zachary’s Asthma story with all of you.

When Zachary was 6 months old he was diagnosed with asthma.  My husband and I thought it was strange because no one in our families had asthma.   We were unsuccessful treating him with a nebulizer and steroids.  When he turned 1 and we were still unsuccessful, our Doctor referred us to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics to a Pediatric Pumologist.  Up to that point we had been in the doctors office an average of 2 times per week.   They changed his meds to 2 different inhalers that were attached to a chamber for him to breath the meds through.  They also put him on Orapred (a steroid) that can cause stunted growth.   They had me keep this medication in our refrigerator- when he needed it I had to call Iowa City and talk to a doctor on call – they always had to chart it.When Zachary was 6 months old he was diagnosed with asthma. They had me keep this medication in our refrigerator- when he needed it I had to call Iowa City and talk to a doctor on call – they always had to chart it. They had me keep this medication in our refrigerator- when he needed it I had to call Iowa City and talk to a doctor on call – they always had to chart it. We went on like this for another year.

When we moved to North Dakota I was introduced to a Company that had safe, non toxic cleaning products, laundry soap, personal care products, etc.  They told me if you have anyone in your home with asthma, allergies, itchy skin, etc., you will love these products.  I tried them.  It was 100% guaranteed and it was already money I was spending on similar products at Wal-Mart.   It was no new money that came out of my pocket.  Two months after getting rid of the toxic cleaning products we were using,  we saw a remarkable change in Zach’s asthma.  He was no longer wheezing, no longer needed any meds and his lips did not turn blue when he cried now.  It has been the best thing for Zachary we have ever done.  Plus I am saving about $150 a month I was spending on meds.   I am so thankful everyday that I was patient enough to give this a shot- It has made all the difference in the world for Zach.  All we did was switch stores to purchase safe, non-toxic products.  Plus these products are less money and don’t have the toxic chemicals then their equivalent at Wal-Mart.

I have people ask me are you sure it was the products?  I respond to that saying- “We have done nothing else differently and I refuse to go back to what I was buying at Wal-Mart to test it.”  We know- we lived with this little boy for 2 years and have seen the change.  We know it has been the products.  I can not say it has cured his asthma, but it definitely has a handle on controlling the symptoms.

Visit our site Wellness Company page and learn about these natural products as Zachary’s parents discovered.  We offer excellent “NATURAL” products scientifically formulated to remove chemical toxin allergies from your home.

How to Deal with Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) creates much discomfort for those that experience the symptoms causing havoc within the large intestine (colon).  The symptoms include, bloating, gas, cramps in the abdomen with pain, constipation and diarrhea.  IBS presents itself to 1 out of every 5 adults and is more prominently exhibited in women starting as early as 20 years of age.  Although IBS creates a great deal of discomfort, it is not a serious health risk (does not lead to intestinal bleeding or cancer).  Common pharmaceuticals prescribed for diarrhea (Lotronex) and for constipation (Zelnorm) to include over the counter medication, which can have serious side effects.

What causes IBS?  No one knows for sure, there is not one identifiable organic factor.  Through clinical case studies and research, scientific consensus agrees the following various factors bring about IBS symptoms:  Individuals with sensitive and reactive colons, immune system, reproductive hormones, diet, stress and emotions can strongly influence the colon.  Since the colons reactive triggers are piped to the brain and are partly controlled by the autonomic nervous system, much like the heart and the lungs; the colon responds to stress (emotions and food intake stimuli) much like the heart and lungs (e.g., being freighted, fast heart beat and breathing, etc.).  The colon reacts the same way by contracting too little, or too much, by removing too little water through the intestinal lining (diarrhea), or too much water (constipation).  Both conditions cause cramping, boating and gas felt within the stomach.  IBS “IS NOT” considered a disease.  Natural Cure Recommendations Below,

Recommendations:  IBS has no cures. You must manage what creates & triggers the symptoms!”
1    Keep a journal of the foods you eat, when you eat and how much (target IBS triggers).  See a physician, or naturopathic physician to present this information to.
2    Reduce large meal intake, which can cause cramping, and diarrhea (smaller meals and more frequent meals), slow eating down, and stop chewing gum, both results in too much gas (air).
3    Check risks warnings on medicines prescribed. Ask your doctor about questionable medications.  Seek professional medical advisement and ask about natural cure management.
4    Remove chocolate, caffeine, milk products and alcohol from diet.   Try removing one at a time to determine if symptoms improve.  Log this information in your daily journal.
5    Remove stress, conflict and other emotional upsetting factors from your lifestyle.
6    Drink 6-8 glasses of water/day, especially for diarrhea.  Don’t drink carbonated drinks.
7    Consume low fat & higher in carbohydrates, such as pasta, rice and “whole grain breads & cereals” (unless you have “celiac disease.”  This disease mimics IBS… If you are diagnosed with this, your body can’t digest gluten (wheat, rye, barley, etc.,) a blood test can rule out if you have celiac disease).
8    Increase fruits and vegetable consumption within your diet and, or see line #9.
9    Supplement your diet with a quality absorbable min & vit’s (See our natural products).
10   Supplement your diet with an autoimmune quality product (See our natural products).
11   Supplement your diet with flora (Good intestinal bacteria) (See our natural products).
12   Supplement your diet with natural menopausal products (See our natural products).

Diet Pills, What’s the Health Risk Big Deal?

Filed under: Diet, Weight Management, Women's Health, addiction, obesity — Marc Woodard @ 16:21

I work with many customers that focus on weight loss “and believe me, there are a lot,” even after I go through all the risks and good/bad health results-benefits associated with quick weight loss, pharmaceutical use, surgery intervention, or address the new “diet hype of the month,” I’m always amazed with the feedback I receive. Such as, “yah but I know this guy who went on this diet pill and dropped 30lbs in one month.”  Or, “I’m not hungry anymore and my weight is melting away like butter.” “Diet pills are dangerous because they are very effective at quick weight loss reduction with dramatic results; “Your health is at risk when your fix is not of this earth, a dangerous craze.”

Diet Pills, What’s the Deal?  First let’s start at the root of the evil.  The food, fashion, pharmaceutical and Advertising industries brainwash us into what is good for us.  Pure and simple, by conditioning our behavior they tell us “what we need to do to stay healthy.” They also tell us how to fix ourselves when we become obese [see the irony]. This behavioral conditioning starts as a child.  Why are we getting fatter?  A good place to start is the food industry.  Why were there over 4 million distinct chemical compounds introduced into our food chain (1965-1982) and 250,000 more since then?  Remember… “Man made “chemical bad, organic good.”  Childhood obesity has hit epidemic proportions and enrichment of our foods “is” responsible.  We are addicted to the drugs in our foods!  It is no different then nicotine, caffeine, etc.   To get off the drugs seems to be a daunting task while obesity and diet pill usage on the rise.   E.g., “Use of diet pills among high school girls nearly doubled from 7.5% to 14.2%.  21.9% of teenage females used diet pills, laxatives, vomiting or skipping meals as a weight control behavior (Diet Blog, diet-blog.com /archives/2006).  JAMA (Journal of American Med Assoc.) reports 3d-year med students receive free gifts to attend pharmaceutical seminars (biased prescribing?).  Did you ever wonder why docs are so in love with one brand of pharmaceutical?  The pharmaceutical industry actually spends 12-18 billion annually to market to physicians & residents (Newswise/JAMA. 2005; 294:1034-1042).

Folks, we are conditioned like brain washed baboons.  “Think not, think again.”  “It’s all about the money!”  Is it not obvious advertising rears its ugly head in almost every discussion within our households?  We want and want more.  The industry tells us what we want by modifying our behavior at a very young age, “not what we need.”  Are you and your children “not” attracted to instant gratification through sight, taste, sound, touch and smell?  Are you addicted to junk foods?  Would you rather “not” work for real lasting results, but instead seek a quick fix for your weight problem?  Do you think these mega-industries really care about our well-being?  Isn’t it obvious “It’s all about the money?”  Does the food and advertising industry care about our health?  Doctors prescribe pills instead of “nutritional & behavior diet modification, sensible eating habits, natural supplementation and exercise management.” “The crux, There’s no money in this.”  The doctors, advertisers, pharmaceutical & food Industries lead by example… “Who do the baboons follow?”

Recommendations:  See second to last sentence of the last paragraph “italicized.”  Go to health blog at our site and see “weight management and nutrition.”  Visit our “Wellness Company Wholesale Program.”  You will find the “best” quality toxin free home & weight loss products, etc.
